My name is Popoola Phillip Jones, a 31 year old MSc graduate of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (Distinction) at the University of Greenwich, UK with flair in design of engineering materials, synthesis of manufacturing systems, process improvement techniques and quality engineering. My BSc project work was on the design and fabrication of a castor nut dehuller with the design requirements such as accessibility, cost, lightness, food hygiene, wear and erosive resistance. On the other hand, my MSc project work was on comparing the property behavior of two Glass Ionomers used in dentistry which are the conventional and the modified glass ionomers. The properties observed were the wear resistance and mechanical properties such as diametral strength, compression strength, and the hardness, taken into consideration the period of exposure to air and water. In all the MSc courses, several industrial case studies were carried out in relationship with quality engineering, strategy and management, design of fixtures, statistical process control and process improvement techniques, amongst many.
I am a team worker and believe in pride at work place, taken every process as a business of all not one and believe in customers’ satisfaction as one of the basic aims of any company, taken every job as a career and not just as a job and deeply involved in every activities with passion to bring into reality, the goal of the company and thereby working towards the achievement of the vision of the company.
