THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, AKURE POST-UTME/DIRECT ENTRY COMPUTER-BASED SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2010/2011 ACADEMIC SESSION

All candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure as first or/and second choice and obtained a minimum score of 200 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in April, 2010 are invited for computer-based screening exercise in the University from Wednesday, 14th July to Friday, 16th July, 2010.
Similarly, candidates who made FUTA as first or/and second choice for the Direct Entry Admission for the 2010/2011 academic session are also invited for a computer-based Pre- Admission screening exercise on Saturday, 17th July, 2010.
The computer-based screening exercise will hold as scheduled below:

Day 3 Friday, 16th July, 2010	SAAT, SEMS SET SMAT SAAT	Agric. Economics & Extension, Animal Production and Health, Crop Soil & Pest Mgt., Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, Food Science Technology, Forestry and Wood Technology. SEMS Applied Geology, Applied Geophysics, Meteorology. SET Architecture, Estate Management, Industrial Design, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional Planning. SMAT Project Management Technology, Transport Management Technology.
Day 4 Saturday, 17th July, 2010	Direct Entry	All Departments

Candidates are to come strictly according to their schedule obtained automatically (printed) from the internet after their registration.
Each candidate should visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) and complete an online registration form. The completed form which will indicate the exact date and time for the screening exercise should be printed for the candidates use. The registration exercise which will commence on Monday, 28th June, 2010, will close at 12.00
midnight on Friday, 9th July, 2010.
1. All candidates are requested to bring along, the following items to the screening venue:

(i) Depositors copy of bank teller(s) indicating payment of ONE THOUSAND NAIRA (N1,000) for online registration.
(ii) Schedule slip for each candidate printed from the internet after registration.
(iii) Acknowledgement of payment (receipt) for N1,000 printed from internet after registration.
(iv) JAMB UTME Notification of Result for UTME candidates OR JAMB slip for Direct Entry candidates.
2. The Venue of the Screening exercise is the Electronic Test Centre, (ETC) Obakekere Campus Federal University of Technology, Akure.
3. Candidates are NOT allowed to bring cell phones or electronic gadget(s) into the examination hall.
4. Any UTME/DE candidate who fails to present himself/herself for the computer-based screening exercise will NOT be considered for admission.
5. Candidates are requested in their own interest to have a feel (practice) of the computer based test by visiting http://test.jkketc.net
