    Job Title: HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING
     
    Objective/Purpose of Job level:
    • Development and implementation of the sales strategy to maintain and drive business growth
    • Development and implementation of the marketing strategy with a focus on creating and developing the brand, proposition and communications
     
    Department: Sales and Marketing
     
    Reporting Relationship
    Functionally reports to: Managing director
    Administratively reports to: Managing Director
    supervises: All sales and marketing personnel
     
    Working Relationships:
    • Internal: All Departments as required
    • External: Vendors, Suppliers and Clients.
     
    Job Duties/Responsibilities/ Accountabilites:
    • Senior sales and marketing manager in charge of all sales activities,
    • departments and personnel involved in sales and marketing field for the company.
    • Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Sales and Marketing Department while maintaining focus on the organisation's strategic goals.
    • Member of the organization's Executive Committee.
    • Analyse sales statistics to determine business growth potential.
    • Establishes performance targets for all Sales and Marketing department employees and monitors performance on a continual basis in line with the organisation's policies and procedures. 
    • Oversees all hiring, training and firing of personnel involved in Sales and marketing. 
    • Develops, or participates with the senior staff in the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan for the organization. 
    • Directs the department to achieve objectives established in the organization's Strategic Plan.
    • Coordinates sales marketing operations with all other departments/divisions of the oroanisations.
    • Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the organisation. 
    • Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the organisation.
    • Senior responsibility for all Trade Accounts Receivables, Monitors AiR aging on a proactive basis with his personnel, coordinates with the Finance department
     
    Education Qualification:
    • A bachelor's degree in business related field
    • An MBA is highly desirable
     
    Experience:
    • At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and sales with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management. sales and business development along with a demonstrated track record of success and performance.
     
    Remuneration:
    • Negotiable

    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential.
    • Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. 
    • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
    • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
    • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
