GENERAL ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
Minimum entry qualification into first degree programmes is five credit passes in relevant subjects as indicated in the Faculty/Departmental requirements above and in the current JAMB Brochure, obtained in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations: SSCE WAEC, SSCE NECO, GCE WAEC, GCE NECO, NABTEB or their equivalents.
DIRECT ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general admissions requirements stated above, a minimum of two relevant subjects passed at GCE Advanced level or NCE (3 merits) or Diploma in relevant field not below credit level is required. It is mandatory for all applicants (full-time and part-time) to register for 2010 JAMB DE or pass 2010 JAMB UME (as applicable)to qualify for admission into the University.

The internet form should be submitted to any of the centres with a non-refundable fee of Six Thousand (#6, 000) naira in bank draft in favour of Benson Idahosa University, Benin City.
Screening Test Exercise for all candidates (full- time and part time) has been scheduled to hold as follows:

NOTIFICATION OF ADMISSIONS RESULTS
List of successful candidates offered Provisional Admission can be accessed on the University’s website and at the University admission office premises.
RESUMPTION AND REGISTRATION OF STUDENTS
Successful candidates are to collect their Letters of Admission from the University as from August 16th, 2010. The 2010/2011 academic session would commence on August , 2010. Registration of students would commence on September 27, 2010 and end on October 18th, 2010
