Job Title: General Manager, Sales
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Our client needs a General Manager to explore business opportunities, develop and deploy sales strategies for its high-end kitchen, sanitary fittings, and other interior solutions, that will guarantee the achievement of overall sales target of the company.
Some Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise sales teams of about 25 in Lagos and Abuja.
Identify sales opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
Sustain rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.
Achieve sales objectives by contributing marketing and sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; and implementing change.
Develop field sales action plan.
Manage and oversee the entire Sales operations of the business.
Bachelor's Degree in related field from a reputation University.
Minimum of 8 years of experience post NYSC.
Experience in Banking, Telecommunication, or Manufacturing.
Sound knowledge and application of sales principles.
Strong understanding of the dynamics of the Real Estate Industry.
Demonstrable experience in business development.
Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
Superior knowledge of the market place
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Superior presentation skills.
Strong strategic selling, negotiation and influencing skills.
Strong financial acumen.
Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Focused, ambitious with strong drive for results.
