Job Title: National Sales Manager Location: Lagos
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in sales and sales management of physiotherapy and/or cardiology products – preferable, or experience in selling capital medical equipment.
Principal Accountabilities Essential Functions: The candidate is among other things expected to:
Actively keep contact with KOL in our 2 main markets – physiotherapy and cardiology
Define a competitive sales strategy and Sales requirement that will ensure a competitive Route to Consumer, numeric distribution, deepen penetration/ density and delivery of relevant business targets.
High volume of trips, meetings and phonecalls with customers
Build the required discipline within the Company Outdoor sales organisation enabling the defined field sales process and standard to be fully embedded.
Leading the roll out of Sales force automation internally and externally to customers
Conduct regular trade visit to enhance Sales force and, customer coaching and development.
Optimization of sales assets
Achieve the assigned sales target
Responsibility to develop a sales team, according the results achieved
Report periodically to branch manager and regional manager
Ensure Channel KPIs are achieved.
Drive a winning culture; lead coaching and coordinate weekly/ monthly Regional meetings and ensure target understanding.
The entire sales team in all Channels and all levels
Meet regularly with team, Sales Director in order to create a result-oriented, customer focused and accountable sales team in accordance with the Company’s policies and plans.
Supply Chain – DC, Technical and production
Distribution: first mile and last mile
Min Required Experience:
Minimum of B.Sc/HND in any Social Science course or other related discipline (MBA)would be an added advantage.
The Ideal person must have financial, commercial and business acumen.
Minimum of 8+ years post graduate cognate experience in sales.
Minimum 3 years experience in sales of cardiology or physiotherapy products.
Minimum 2 years experience in a management position
Good knowledge of cardio market and/or physiotherapy market: customers (public and private as well), KOL.
Capacity to prove results achieved in other companies
IT skills (MS office – PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Planning, organising and coordinating skills
MUST have relevant experience in sales and sales management of physiotherapy and/or cardiology products – preferable, or experience in selling capital medical equipment.
Must be driven to keep the process moving , an outgoing and convincing personality, with a sense of urgency, who can communicate at all levels and persuade key stakeholders in to the right course of action.
Analytical & Business Acumen.
Motivated to achieve personal and professional objective.
Capacity to perform well the daily routine and to keep also focus on middle and long term objective.
