ROLE: OFFSHORE EMERGENCY DOCTOR
Our client, a reputable Emergency Health Organization has given us the task to source qualified Offshore Emergency Doctors with Offshore or Engineering rig work experience.
The work location: Within Nigeria.
Rotation: The Offshore doctor is required to work on a 30 to 60 day duration.
Required applicant location: Qualified applicant may be located in any state within Nigeria.
As an Offshore Emergency Doctor, you will be responsible to provide medical and welfare support to on board exploration vessel operation offshore within Nigeria. Applicants must have received training and gained clinical exposure to Rapid Sequence Intubation (RSI) techniques within the last 18 months. Working on a rotational basis, doctors provide primary and emergency healthcare to all personnel on board. Duties may include:
First Aid training and promotion of lifestyle issues including fitness, alcohol awareness and healthy eating.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for health and hygiene inspections and advising on other safety issues, clinic management, general administration and computer based reporting.
Must always maintain a calm disposition under pressure.

Min Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/HND
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor of Medicine or Surgery
Experience: Minimum of five years' post medical qualification experience; preferable but not mandatory to include remote site and/or pre-hospital experience.
Current and up-to-date medical certification
Valid Offshore or NIMSAS Medical Certificate
Evidence of Current Registration with MDCN
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) training & certification.
Approved BOSIET offshore safety and survival training
An understanding of current Health and Safety Legislation
Security and Awareness Certificate with designated duties
Good levels of health and fitness
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Good interpersonal relations.
A team player able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
A customer-focussed, positive approach to work.
Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
Experience working within an Occupational Health environment.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency with tools, technology and systems typically found in a healthcare environment (I.e Mocrosoft Office Suite, patient records systems, EMR systems etc).

Location is Offshore. Applicants may be located anywhere within Nigeria.
Offshore Doctor will be required to work 30 to 60 days per duration.
