Bourbon Interoil Nigeria Limited  recruits a Well Intervention Project Engineer
 
Duties & Responsibilities
Subsea Project Activities:

  • Active adherence to and promotion of company HSE & quality policies and procedures
  • Perform HAZID with all involved parties
  • Examine the contract scope of work to ascertain project engineering work scope to be performed
  • Review all Engineering documentation produced by Project, Clients and their Subcontractors
  • To attend offshore campaign as lead engineer working on various vessels
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the mobilization, demobilization, and offshore work
  • Any other duties as required by the Project Manager or their delegate
  • Issue procedure for deployment of equipment in deepwater using vessel crane and ROV
  • Issue specification of required equipment
  • Coordinate interfacing activities with subcontractors/vendors, clients and third parties throughout the project life cycle
  • Ensuring that subcontractor/vendor documentation is issued on schedule and in compliance to specification, scope of work and subcontract terms and conditions
  •  Use and develop Lessons Learned across project and documents for internal or external use
  • Reports to Project Manager

 
Well intervention Specifics:
Provide support to the project and offshore teams on:

  • Well stimulation
  • Well injectivity
  • Well interference
  • Well control using umbilical
  • -Issue mobilization plan, task plan for offshore operations including:
  • Deployment/ recovery of flexible hose / umbilical
  • Pumping in well using of flexible hose
  • -Issue specification of required equipment
  • Line reporting and functional linkage
  • Reporting to the Business Management Director

Qualification & Experience:

  • A degree in Engineering (a Masters degree will be an added advantage) 
  • 10 years general experience, 5 of which must have been in Subsea well intervention projects.
