Job Title: Afters Sales Support Lead

Department: Operations

Job Summary

As the After Sales Support Manager, you are responsible for supervising all post-sales, post-implementation,customer follow-up, and general business plans to make sure clients are satisfied, that they actually enjoy SeamlessHR’s promise of good customer service on the products and services offered, and that sales improves.


This role also involves assisting clients in resolving issues concerning products they purchased or services rendered to them by establishing and retaining contact with clients so that you can easily obtain customer feedback concerning the quality of SeamlessHR suite of products. You must establish good work relationship with clients to ensure increased patronage and revenue. You monitor details of contracts to inform clients of pending expiration date and assist them in processing contract renewals where needed. You are also involved in negotiation with clients on price and contract  renewals to ensure details of contracts are established.

As our ideal candidate, you should be upbeat and vibrant in language, tone and behavior. You should also have a good knowledge of the industry, In depth knowledge of SeamlessHR product suite, be detail-oriented, familiar with the start-up ecosystem, driven, articulate, and enjoy working with others in a fun and fast-paced environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Train, motivate, and lead after sales teams to achieve set objectives and targets

  • Maintain contact with clients to obtain clients feedback regarding product/service quality

  • Assist clients in resolving issues and complaints concerning purchased products or services

  • Build and establish good work relationship with clients to facilitate increased patronage and revenue

  • Monitor contract details to notify clients of pending expiration and help process renewal

  • Supervise the operations of after sales teams to ensure set targets are met

  • Develop and implement strategies effective for ensuring a satisfied clientele and increased returns

  • Liaise with other sales departmental heads to discuss business plans necessary for enhancing sales performance

  • Direct and coordinate the customer service operation of a team to ensure clients are tended appropriately in line with set customer service standards

  • Develop and optimize support and service processes, tools, and systems

  • Proactively addresses/manages conflict and disputes

  • Conduct price and contract negotiations with clients to establish contract details and attain profit margin

  • Oversee all post-implementation services provided to clients to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of job operations by conducting research and participating in trainings and educational programs

  • Provide periodic reports to the Head Of Business Operations on all after sales activities

  • Conducts research into competitive companies and the surrounding market

  • Ensure compliance with all general and company policies when carrying out job duties


Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any of Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or in a related discipline

  • Experience in same or a similar within a software sales firm organisation

  • In-depth knowledge of SeamlessHR suite of products and services

  • Possess experience in process implementation and after sales supporting tools

  • Structured thinking, able to multitask under pressure, responsible, organized, highly motivated, able to work independently and as a part of the team

  • Team up with other sales team in the company to discuss and make the necessary plans for achieving effective sales

  • Organized, detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work under short-term deadlines whilst maintaining detail accuracy

  • Ability to work at all levels to support, coach and enforce where necessary the knowledge and disciplines required to achieve target


Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Above average knowledge and applications of strategy development

  • Above average knowledge and applications of strategy execution

  • Advanced knowledge of primary product and basic knowledge of other secondary products

  • Demonstrate expertise in verbal communication

  • Demonstrate expertise written communication especially in business writing

  • Team Leadership skills

  • Process Management skills

  • Be an expert in championing the customer

  • Full grasp of industry knowledge and engagement

Reporting Structure: In this position, you’ll report to the Head of Business Operations (or the Chief Executive Officer should the former role be open)
