Job Title: Production Manager / Operations Manager
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations.
Prospective staff is expected to ensure that our production process remains smooth and efficient by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.
Responsible for the day to day operations of factory
Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
Oversee and coach employees
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
Check production output according to specifications
Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.
Proper/correct usage of equipment in order to ensure minimum wastage of ingredients during production process
Production Manager Should be ready for Inspection from both Local & State Government
Ensure team’s observance of all operation and safety instructions as regards the use and cleaning production equipment
Monitor and ensure the availability of production inputs at all time
Responsible along with other team members to ensure reduction in wastage
Monitor and ensure the availability of consumables in the production – disposable apron, net-caps, gloves, nose mask etc
Ensure that inputs are stored in right place and under the right condition - temperatures & in a hygienic & safe manner
Ensure stocks are replenished immediately they fall below the minimum stock level
Ensure that production is done as accordance to prescribed methods/instructions and recipes in accurate quantities to ensure efficient utilization of resources
Periodical planning & undertaking of stock take
Ensure consistent quality and freshness of all products
Min Required Experience:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Production Manager or similar role
Should possess B.Sc/HND
Experience in FCMG is required.
Advanced skills in MS Office and Excel
Organizational and leadership abilities
Communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
