Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a Danish international non-governmental organisation, which promotes and supports durable solutions to the problems faced by refugees and internally displaced people all over the world. The Supply Chain Officer - Roving Procurement reports directly to the Procurement Team Leader. She/he must be able to ensure rapid procurement of all program supplies, services and equipment, whilst ensuring best practices and maintaining audit-compliant records in field offices.
Maintain standard DRC procurement policies and procedures and ensure that procurement (from single quote to Request for Quotation threshold in field offices) is conducted in a fair and transparent manner, is fully documented and is in full compliance with DRC policies and any relevant donor policies
Do the local procurement, ensure accountable and efficient procurement service provision to program and support departments.
Carry out supplier vetting in the field office.
Ensure that the lead-time for ordering and delivery of goods is followed up and achieved.
Ensure that the procurement tracking is regularly shared with the different requestors.
Respect and maintain the filing system from the receiving of the purchase request to the payment.

Key Requirements Essential:
University degree in Supply Chain Management/Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Business Administration.
At least two years’ work experience in field supply chain, NGO other International Organization
Hands-on experience/skills in MS Excel (experience in working with formulas)
ERP working experience is an added advantage.
Excellent organizational skills, self-motivated, proactive and able to accomplish set deadlines.
Willing to meet deadlines with minimum supervision
Ability to response quick when emergency supply is requested in the field offices
Autonomous and ready to take initiative to improve within her/his area of responsibility
Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in local spoken languages.
Good communication and teamwork spirit.
Salary and Conditions In accordance with Danish Refugee Council’s Terms of Employment:
