Job Title: Consultant to Undertake Assesment on Housing, Land and Property Issues in Areas of Return

- NRC is looking for a Consultant to carry out a complementary assessment of Housing, Land and Property issues in areas of return and revise an initial draft report to reflect the findings of this assessment for our NRC programme in Borno state in North-east of Nigeria. The findings and recommendations of this study will address the Housing, Land and Property concerns, inform programming and contribute to the achievement of durable solutions to NRC interventions in areas of return in North East Nigeria.
- NRC initiated country operations in Nigeria in June 2015, in order to respond to the critical and increasing needs in the country. NRC currently has a full team based in Maiduguri and a coordination office in Abuja. NRC is currently providing services across various sectors namely; Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI); Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH); Food Security; and Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) and recently Education in order to address identified humanitarian needs.
- The Consultant reports progress to Acting ICLA Programme Development Manager and the Evaluation team.
