This Feasibility report is prepared to enable a young promising Poultry Farm expands to feed making business. The farm has invested over 1000 birds and other animals.
Their main products include birds, layers, eggs, cockerels etc. She is desirous for expansion in order to satisfy the yearning demand of her farm consumption and other numerous customers.
This report is therefore to seek for financial assistant/facilities for effective needed expansion.
This report is based on a survey done between May and August 2018 respectively.
The consultant collected the information used in this report from existing farm mills, raw material markets and finished products markets, in various locations within Enugu and Anambra States. It will be an integrated farm dedicated to the productions and selling of birds, eggs, animal feeds, poultry feeds, (starter, grower, and finisher) etc.
Markets for poultry feeds are very wide. Large Poultry farms, micro farms, and farms located from one compound to another all demand for poultry feeds to feed their birds. Farm products which include chicken, eggs, etc. are household food. 80% of individual homes in Nigeria consume chicken and eggs on daily basis. Other major buyers are meat markets, cold rooms, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants. Demands for poultry products are high these days since there has been a vigorous campaign against red meat for people between 50 and above ages. Our target is on those poultry farms scattered all over the country, since their demand is far above supply by more than 75%. This means that producers of poultry feeds put together in Enugu/Anambra metropolis do not meet the demand of the buyers or consumers.

It tells us whether a project is worth the investment.
A feasibility study evaluates the project's potential for success; therefore, perceived objectivity is an important factor in the credibility of the study for potential investors and lending institutions. [Source: Wikipedia]
